Texas Pete Twin City RibFest
Since its creation in 2005, The Texas Pete Twin City RibFest has become one of the largest food events in the state of
North Carolina, regularly hosting upwards of 30,000 attendees each year. It takes place every Father's Day weekend in
downtown Winston-Salem. The event's formula is simple, Hot Ribs, Cold Beer, and Cool Music. The 2007 RibFest was
recognized nationally in Bon Appetit magazine, Blueprint magazine, and on MarthaStewart.com.

Art&Vine is a new wine and art festival in downtown Greensboro in and around the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center.

The first Jazz on the Plaza was held at Corpening Plaza in downtown Winston-Salem on August 31. It featured Grammy
nominee Boney James. Over 500 people enjoyed a beautiful night of jazz under the stars.
